IP Skipping Feature
IP Whitelisting is a feature that simplifies this process by allowing you to save a proxy configuration string and associate it with a specific IP address. Essentially, this feature allows you to create a preset configuration and associate it with an IP. Therefore, it eliminates the need for authentication, allowing you to directly connect to the proxy using only the HOST:PORT format. This method increases ease of access while maintaining the security and specificity of the proxy settings.
What are the benefits of IP whitelisting?
IP whitelisting has a number of advantages over the more common username/password authentication.
- Increased security
- Improved access control
- Preventing Abuse
- Easier scaling
