Proxy and IP tools
Check your IP, any address, proxies, open ports, the route to a server, ping and DNS leaks — free, in the browser and without registration.

Which tool to choose
Every tool works in the browser, with no registration or installation. Pick one by task:
| Task | Tool | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Find your IP and check whether it changed after connecting a proxy | My IP | IP, country, city, provider, browser and OS |
| Find where any IP is located and who owns it | IP Lookup | Country, city, provider, ASN, network type |
| Check a proxy list before work | Proxy Checker | Status, type, country, speed, anonymity |
| See which ports are open on your server | Port Scanner | The status of every port: open, closed, filtered |
| Find where speed is lost on the way to a server | IP Tracer | Route hops with latency and loss on each |
| Make sure a proxy or VPN does not expose your real address | DNS Leak Test | DNS servers, WebRTC and IPv6 leaks |
| Check whether a server responds and how fast | Ping | Time of every packet, loss, minimum, average and maximum |

How to check a proxy before work
A proxy that “seems connected” does not always work as needed: it may not respond, be in a different country or expose your real address through DNS. A check takes a couple of minutes and saves hours of debugging later.
- 1Paste the proxy into the proxy checker — see whether it responds, its type and country.
- 2Connect the proxy in your browser or app and open My IP — the address and country should change to the proxy ones.
- 3Run the DNS Leak Test — DNS servers and WebRTC must not show your real address and country.

Terms in brief
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| IP address | The address of a device or network on the internet. Websites see your public IP and use it to tell your country and provider. |
| Proxy | An intermediary server: a website sees the proxy IP instead of yours. |
| Port | The number of an “entrance” on a server behind which a particular service runs: 80 — a website over HTTP, 22 — SSH. |
| DNS | The system that turns a website name into an IP address. If DNS queries bypass the proxy, a website can learn your real region. |
| ASN | The number of the network that owns a block of IP addresses: it shows the provider or hosting company. |
| WebRTC | A browser technology for calls and video. It can reveal your real IP to a website even through a proxy. |
| Ping | The time a packet takes to reach a server and come back, in milliseconds. |
