Proxies for trading
Trading terminals, brokerage services and APIs often need a stable IP and a predictable connection. Proxies let you work through an address in the right region and keep it for the session.

How trading proxies work
A proxy routes the connection of a trading terminal, web platform or internal service through a selected IP address. For long sessions a static IP is usually used, especially if the platform supports address whitelisting or service integrations.
Rotating IPs can be used for regularly fetching public market data and other tasks where you don't need to keep one address for the whole session.
Compatibility depends on the specific terminal, protocol and broker rules. A proxy also does not guarantee lower latency, so it is better to test the connection in your working configuration first.
| Tool | What to check | Suitable connection |
|---|---|---|
| Trading terminal | HTTP or SOCKS5 support | Static IP |
| Web platform | Browser or system settings | HTTPS or a system proxy |
| API and market data | Automated access rules | Static or rotating IP |
Why use proxies for trading
Proxies help keep one IP for a compatible terminal, connect a permitted integration and get public market data through a separate address.
Static IP
Keep one address for a compatible terminal or a whitelist.
Separate connection
Route a permitted application's traffic through a dedicated address.
Market data
Get published quotes, volumes and other public indicators.
Integration
Manage proxy settings for permitted tools via the Public API.
Which proxies to choose for trading
The choice depends on the trading platform, the supported protocol, geography and whether you need a permanent IP.
Datacenter proxies
For a large number of independent requests to permitted data sources.
From $0.50 / GB at 10,000 GBDatacenter proxies →Residential proxies
For public metrics and web pages that depend on geography.
From $0.60 / GB at 10,000 GBResidential proxies →Mobile proxies
For checking your own mobile trading tools and interfaces.
From $1.50 / GB at 10,000 GBMobile proxies →Static DC proxies
For permitted APIs, whitelist integrations and a permanent server address.
$1 / IP / monthStatic DC →Static ISP proxies
For compatible platforms that need a permanent ISP IP.
$2 / IP / monthStatic ISP →What trading tools proxies suit
MetaTrader
Connect a static IP if the terminal and the broker allow working through a proxy.
Forex platforms
Use a separate address for a compatible terminal and a permitted integration.
TradingView
Set up the proxy in the app, browser or system if supported.
cTrader
Check protocol support and broker requirements before connecting.
Market data
Get public quotes, volumes and other published indicators.
Trading APIs
Use a permanent IP for permitted integrations and whitelists.
Ready settings for trading
Choose parameters for a trading terminal, market data, mobile checks or a permitted API integration.

Choose a permanent or changing IP
A trading terminal usually needs a permanent address. Use IP change only for independent requests to public data.
One address for the terminal
Use a static proxy for a long permitted connection.
One IP for the duration of a check
Keep the address for sequential work with public data.
New address for a new request
Change the IP between independent permitted requests to data sources.
Choose IPs in 195 countries
Set the country, state or region, city, ZIP and ASN for permitted checks and work with public data. Choosing an IP does not override broker requirements or the law.
Connect proxies to your trading tool
Use HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5 if the terminal, app, operating system or permitted integration supports them.

Use trading proxies responsibly
Follow the broker's and platform's rules
Before connecting, check whether proxy use is allowed. Follow KYC and AML requirements, regional restrictions, automated access rules and applicable law.
Important. Do not use proxies to conceal financial transactions, bypass checks or regional bans, manage other people’s accounts, manipulate the market, commit fraud or other violations.
